GoTriangle Service Changes include Bus Routes in Wake

GoTriangle’s new non-CDL program, designed to offset the current driver shortage, is rolling out changes on two Wake Transit routes starting Sunday, April 3, 2022. The latest details related to bus routes affected by the program: 310 and the RDU Shuttle.

  • Route 310: Smaller transit vehicles will service this route.
  • RDU Shuttle: Smaller transit vehicles will service this route.

GoTriangle is currently notifying riders of the changes through a variety of channels, including its website, service alerts, TransLoc, and planned signage at impacted stops. Though the demand for public transit is returning, the industry is experiencing a shortage of qualified bus operators. In order to continue to meet the demand of its riders, GoTriangle is transitioning these routes, allowing GoTriangle to avoid service disruptions.

Vehicles will be marked with transit agency and route information. Real-time arrival information will not be available via TransLoc during this time. For questions about routes, please call (919) 485-7433. Maps and schedules are available at gotriangle.org.
