GoTriangle is the designated lead agency for the management of Wake Transit financial components. It administers the Wake Transit tax district, which includes implementing financial policies and procedures, modeling cost and expenditure assumptions, processing reimbursement requests, and other related tasks. The primary sources of revenue for Wake Transit Plan implementation are tax collections. Additional funds may be contributed through local, state, and federal programs, farebox collections, debt proceeds, and other sources.
